IIAM’s mission is to encourage effective and efficient use of ADR. The institution works to research, construct, and evaluate projects for the purpose of promoting dispute resolution and dispute management for evolving social justice.

In an era where things are fast changing, we must continuously adapt innovative methods to suit the requirements.

The continued development of dispute resolution relies upon an improved understanding of the context, goals, accessibility and effectiveness of ADR processes and interventions. In addition, a continuing focus and exploration of skills and standards of neutrals and logistic and administrative expertise and innovations of institutions enhances the development of more effective dispute resolution system. The cultural and linguistic differences also influence dispute resolution methods.

To accomplish this mission, IIAM undertakes a continuous research and development program. The IIAM DPM program is the outcome of research analysis of IIAM.
